I remember it was back in high school (mid 2010s) when this made a bit of a hubba-ballo in the fact that it existed, A lot of seniors had a free study period and another senior found the film on you tube...we.spent that whole hour laughing our butts off. At one point a teacher with a free period passed by our classroom to check on us "responsibile" seniors and was so amazed that this was a thing and I think also horrified he just silently sat at an empty desk and watched with us.

Omg ... The memories of being 8yrs old and everyone talking about this at school. We couldn't wait. As a kid I was like "what??... Where all the special effects and good storyline?😅😂 It almost felt like an HR Puffinstuff episode...

I remember watching this when it aired. Even as a child it struck me as odd and, well, horrible. I was especially upset by the stormtroopers trashing Lumpy's room and the soldier tearing the head off of his bantha. Sure, the empire is evil. But it goes beyond evil to terrorize and traumatize a child. It struck me as gross and a tactless and talentless handling of the spirit of SW, let alone Christmas. It felt like a co-production of Charles Manson and John Wayne Gacy.

2003 Blockbuster employee here, by then the Blockbuster University gimmick had been dropped, I remember when I went to training they told us how the old way was wrong and I was part of the latest and greatest training program, I think it was called Star Maker lol.
